Carlos, although I don’t fully agree with Lovelyargie, I think there’s a speck of truth in her post. Let me start off by saying that I’m American, and I’ve lived in Argentina for over a decade. Although (some; a minotrity of) Americans may be superficially more refined, I think that Argentineans have a rich culture and tend to be less ignorant than the average American, generally speaking; especially when it comes to issues about the rest of the world. I’ve heard several experienced professors from American colleges say that American education is considerably poor compared to that of European countries, and IMHO, Argentina, where students are taught to think for themselves instead of repeating the answers of a multiple choice exam. That may be an explanation to the “ignorance” Lovelyargie was talking about. The average Argentinean high school student is exposed to much more than the average American high school student as well. I know because I went to school there, and the differences in the educational systems is a topic I always discuss with my friends in California. They call me lucky, you may call me snob; but you know… It’s not surprising to see international students that have a better grasp of the English language than natives… it’s sad.

When it comes to manners, Americans may be more polite, but they’re dead cold compared to South Americans and Europeans (or “rude” in our culture’s perspective). I would much rather meet people who are abrupt in their manners than people who could possibly sue me for the silliest thing. The lack of social proximity is ridiculous to me, but you may you prefer politeness and distance. Cultural differences, I guess, but what’s undeniable is that Americans are spoiled by customer service. I travelled to Europe with American friends recently, and it was funny how they constantly complained about the bad service in restaurants among other places, while it seemed perfectly normal to me.

And what gives Argentines the right to define who’s refined and who’s not? I for one have been to Argentina and didn’t find the natives refined in the slightest. Exceptions aside, I found most to be the exact opposite, and not only unrefined fashion-wise but also abrupt in their manner and lacking in pleasantries. Really, if you think the average argentine is refined, it’s obvious that you’ve never been out of the country…
That said, your statement that Americans lack good taste and are not refined at all is a gross generalization. While that may be the case for a redneck from the Deep South, not all Americans are like that. The Americans from the big cities in the East Coast are known for their sophistication and elegance. I can assure you the average New Yorker is much more refined than most people in Buenos Aires.
On another note, I find it ironic that you even have the nerve to call Americans ignorant after making such an uninformed post yourself. Do you ever look in the mirror?

Ok i will say some things about this blog.
The girl from the photo ,Karina is good looking i know her well she has been my neighbour in Palermo and she went out with a friend of mine, an ex rich guy.She is sexy very hot and love hard sex (i know details but i won;t tell them) and all that is good but on the other side she is not clever at all.There are much more girls in Argentina that are that beautiful and much more refined clever and so on.Thats why as i know her i can tellyou she is not the dream of some of us.
2:Girls in argentina specially from the centre and south part are a good mix of italian,spanish and another places in less proportion and they like to be thin and well trained that s why they are attractive for most of men of the rest of the world.
