‘Dia de accion de gracias’ es una traduccion mexicana supongo, a nosotros tambien nos suena muy rara. Pero como aca thanksgiving no se festeja y casi no se conoce no le prestamos atencion.
Para no mencionar que “thanksgiving” significa “dar gracias” y “día de dar gracias” suena aún peor. Y bué, en inglés “día osvaldo” debe sonar patético.
Hehe, I know it’s little late but I just found this today and it really made me laugh.
Just shows us again how incredibly ingenious we are at expressing ourselves and that language truly does not know boundaries.
